What is an affiliate?
An affiliate is an independent organization or person, who is willing to promote a product in exchange for a commission should that product be purchased as a result of their online promotional efforts.

How do I contact someone at Veskimo?

Do I have to pay anything to be an affiliate?
It is FREE to join as an affiliate.

What are the requirements to become an affiliate?
Affiliates must have a valid website address and valid email address in order to participate. Membership is controlled by Veskimo, and we may review/accept/reject any application for any reason. We strive to bring in quality websites to our network.

How do I see reports on my earnings?
You can access your account at anytime, 24 hours a day - 7 days a week using the Affiliate ID and Password you selected when signing up for your account. The reporting is all web based, and user-friendly for your convenience.

How does Veskimo track the sales on the Web?
We use cookies to track sales through affiliate's websites. The cookies are only used to identify affiliate generated sales, and we do not collect any other information for any other purpose with these cookies. Upon a sale, we are able to determine the total amount of commission paid to the affiliate, and the affiliate that was responsible for that sale.

How does Veskimo know which affiliate to credit for which sale?
Since each affiliate's unique link redirects to our website, we are able to match up at the event of a sale, with the affiliate who caused the action.

What about the customers who don't have cookies turned on in their browser?
Research indicates that nearly 99% of internet users have cookies enabled on their browser. Cookies are an integral part of the web, and aid in the creation of e-commerce website, user-friendly websites, and other customized sites. In the unlikely event that a customer has cookies disabled on their browser, that customer’s purchase cannot be tracked and no commission will be credited.

When cookies are used, what information is available?
We do not profile customers, aggregate data for analysis on customer preferences, or store any customer data. We use cookies solely for the purpose of providing an affiliate management solution, and only generic information about a customer is used.

Is there fraud prevention on the Veskimo network?
We have many automated tools in place to alert us to possible fraud. Our team also monitors the activities of affiliates, to make sure that there is no suspicious activity. All commission payments are reviewed before they are sent, and fraudulent users will NOT be paid ANY commissions. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for fraud, no exceptions.

How and When will I be paid for my generated sales?
Commissions are held in escrow for 30 days (to allow for possible returns), then paid at the end of that month via PayPal.  If the total of all commissions for the month is less than $25, those commissions will roll over into the following month until they exceed $25, at which time a payout is made at the end of that month.

What kinds of stats are available for the affiliates?
Each transaction is logged on our servers, and available for review in detail.

What kind of computer or technical skill is needed to be an affiliate?
Affiliates will need to be somewhat familiar with HTML, so that they can correctly Copy & Paste the linking code from Veskimo, and place it within a web page, or within the body of an email message.

How much time is required to get started?
It takes only a few minutes to sign up and receive your Affiliate ID.  If you are familiar with HTML, you should be able to quickly get your first banner or image inserted on your website and linked to Veskimo so you can start earning commissions!
